FAQ
Do you take insurance?
All of our offices are in-network with most major insurance companies, however chiropractic coverage will depend on your specific carrier and plan. You can bring your insurance card with you to your first visit and our billing team will be able to determine your benefits for you and what coverage can apply to your care plan after the first 2 visits with us.
After your first 2 visits in our office, your doctor will create a personalized care plan for you. We will also provide you with many payment options to suit your needs.
Please note that your New Patient Package (your first 2 visits in our office) is not billed and won’t be covered by insurance. Many insurance companies don’t yet recognize the advanced, innovative neurological scans we use, despite decades of research showing their effectiveness. But rest assured, we’re here to provide you with the best, most forward-thinking care possible.
Although your first 2 visits are coupled together as one price and will be self-pay, we gladly accept HSA/FSA cards and Care Credit as payment options for this.
What can I expect during my first chiropractic visit?
During your first visit, we will conduct a thorough consultation, review your health history, and perform a physical exam. We will also perform a posture analysis and use our state-of-the-art neurological studies to determine the root cause of your health concerns. If necessary, diagnostic tests like X-rays may be taken. After that, we’ll discuss a personalized corrective treatment plan based on your unique needs.
What conditions can chiropractic care help with?
Chiropractic care can address a wide range of issues, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, posture problems, and joint discomfort. Additionally, it can support overall wellness and preventive care by improving spinal alignment and nervous system function.
Is chiropractic care safe for children and pregnant women?
Yes, chiropractic care is safe for both children and pregnant women. Our chiropractors use gentle, specialized techniques designed for infants, children, and expectant mothers to promote optimal health and development.
How many chiropractic sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and health goals. Some patients may see improvement after just a few visits, while others may require ongoing care for chronic issues or long-term wellness.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?
No, you do not need a referral to see a chiropractor. You can book an appointment directly with our office, and we’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your needs.
What should I wear to my appointment?
It is best to wear comfortable and flexible clothing for your appointment, but don’t worry if that’s not possible as we can accommodate your outfit and provide covers if necessary.
Once I start going to the Chiropractor, do I have to go forever?
The quick answer is no. There are no lifetime contracts in our offices. In addition, people leave care when they like. Chiropractic is not addictive, unless you consider a desire to be your best self unhealthy.
We recommend chiropractic care for as long as you wish to be your best. We are passionate about helping you feel and function optimally and, like getting your regular dental cleanings, wellness chiropractic adjustments are a recommended wellness component.
Is chiropractic dangerous?
Chiropractic is vastly safer than any drug or medical procedure. Chiropractic malpractice premiums are quite small compared to those paid by M.D.’s. When a chiropractor makes a mistake, nothing (as opposed to a good result) happens, or one might end up a little sore.
Compare this to these frightening statistics for medicine. It has been estimated that over 100,000 people die each year from prescription drugs taken in the hospital.
How old or young should somebody be to receive care?
Our oldest client is 99 years old! Most weeks we adjust newborn babies as well. 50% of our practice is children. This is because most folks want their children to reach their full potential. 100% nerve supply is an important part of that equation!
